Found a photo I took a few years back and I added a bit of bokeh using Bokeh-licious by KML Creatives. I love the color these overlays add to pics!

Seasons in Indiana
Tomorrow is spring and with that brings (eventually) warmer weather, but you wouldn't know it here in southern Indiana as the temps are a bit below average for this time of year. With warmer weather that means trips to some of Indiana's gorgeous state parks. One of our family's favorite state park is Shades State Park in Crawfordsville which is down the road from Turkey Run State Park...another beautiful park. Shades is for more primitive camping and is more quiet and peaceful. There are many trails to explore and canoeing is very popular in this area too. If you live in Indiana and love to camp, hike & explore than you must see both of these beautiful parks!
Here are some pictures of McCormick's Creek State Park in Spencer, Indiana, which is much closer to us here in southern Indiana. One set was taken April 17, 2012 and the fall photos where taken October 18, 2012. This park is simply gorgeous in the fall! I think I love living in Indiana where all parks seem to be beautiful...to me anyway.
Blessings,
Lee Anne

Last Year's Azaleas
I love spring and all the gorgeous color it brings, but unfortunately there is non to be found...at least where I live. While I was going through some of last year's photos taken at this time of year, I came across some pics of the beautiful azaleas that grew out our front door at the home we owned in Missouri. Unfortunately, the new owners, ripped them all out soon after they moved into the home. So now, all I have to remember them by are the many pictures taken over the six years of living there. They really are gorgeous and this scripture goes with it perfectly.
Blessings,
Lee Anne

I love spring!
Love the green hues spring brings...even if they are dandelions. The azaleas and rhododendrons are just not blooming anywhere like they should this spring...I'm thinking the lack of a winter has something to do with it, sadly. The iris' are doing just fine though.

Bloomin' Spring
The trees are blooming and opening overnight here in north central Missouri. I sure doesn't feel like any March I've experienced since moving back north.

Spring is in the air here in Missouri
When I stepped outside today, I noticed how dark the sky was looking toward the east. The colors where really nice so I snapped a pic. It's when I went to edit that I noticed that our trees are showing buds...spring is right around the corner although, like so many around the country, we didn't really see a winter this year.

Baby cardinals today
Pic~96
Baby cardinals today and four days earlier. By looking at the size difference, the third bird doesn't seem to be getting the same amount of nurishment that the other two have been getting. Poor little guy...

Hatched Baby Cardinals!
Pic~91
We came home from our trip to Indiana this afternoon and found the cardinals had hatched while we were gone! I only saw three...not sure if the fourth egg is still in the nest and the babies are just laying on it as it was just last about a week and a half ago. Maybe one of the parents rolled it out of the nest...not sure yet.Thursday, April 21, 2011
Sweetness!

Azaleas in Bloom!
Pic~86
One of my favorite spring perennials are in bloom in front of my house...the azalea! I have three gorgeous shades...light pink, fushia (almost reddish in tone) & white. The fushia and light pink are just now opening up with the white coming on when the others are going out. Such a gorgeous plant...everyone should have some of these in their yard!Sunday, April 17, 2011
Colorful Jelly Beans
