The central part of Indiana saw a lot of snow last week and some really cold temps. We are usually in Bedford, but when temps are really cold we stay with our daughter in Bloomington. While there, I was able to get a few shots outside once the temps rose a bit though. I love to see how snow falls on something as simple as a shrub with red berries...so pretty!

Monroe Lake, Bloomington, Indiana
Today is just gorgeous!! The air is warm and the sun is shining...can't get any better than this! My family and I went to the country today to do some target shooting and we had a ball, as usual, just being together. Here is a pic of me and my little grandson, Jonah. Never too early to learn to use a camera, I say! =)
Lovin' life in beautiful southern Indiana!
Lee Anne
This one was taken on Lake Monroe just south of Bloomington, Indiana, this week. The air was crisp and the sky was a gorgeous blue. We even spotted an Amercican Bald Eagle as he flew not far from us. Never tire of seeing that majestic bird.

Spring is in the air here in Missouri
When I stepped outside today, I noticed how dark the sky was looking toward the east. The colors where really nice so I snapped a pic. It's when I went to edit that I noticed that our trees are showing buds...spring is right around the corner although, like so many around the country, we didn't really see a winter this year.

Gorgeous Southern Indiana
All of these pics were taken looking out the window and some through a windshield of our truck today. The sky was this spectacular shade of blue...I just had to take some pics while we traveled around today. I hope you enjoy these pics as much as I do!

Random Photos
I played with a few different lenses today and just took pics of things that caught my eye...which is usually based on their color properties or a particular angle that I like.

The relief of cooler temps has finally arrived! A gorgeous blue sky and fluffy clouds ain't too bad either. I took this while going down the road today looking through a windshield...just beautiful!

Hoar Frost
Pic 14~
Day two for seeing hoar frost on the trees, but not as thick as the day before. Yesterday, I didn't take my camera for the drive to work...big mistake! I've never seen the trees so thick and full of frost with the sun hazing behind the thick clouds...gorgeous!

Pic 13~
I was scrounging for subject matter today! Trying to come up with new ideas is a challenge, but I am enjoying it! Here in north central Missouri, we have received more snowfall than average and with the temps just getting over freezing there are icicles hanging from every roof it seems. I caught these hanging down from a wind chime that I didn't remove before the cold stuff arrived. It made for something different anyway.1/320 sec at f/2.8, ISO 1250
