I love seeing Queen Ann's Lace growing at this time of year so while on one of our regular "early morning beat the heat walks" yesterday, I clipped some and brought it home to take a picture of it...of course. =)

Random Photos
I played with a few different lenses today and just took pics of things that caught my eye...which is usually based on their color properties or a particular angle that I like.

Beautiful Color!
Pic~158
The tiger lily is in bloom and gorgeous! I underexposed my settings, on purpose, to exposure compensation -2, ISO 100, fill flash -2, F11 - F18, 1/250sec, 36 - 47mm approximately on these three photos. The underexposure & fill flash made some gorgeous color...I used a polarized filter too.Friday, January 21, 2011
Beautiful Memorial Poinsettia
Pic 7 ~
I had a very long day with no time to get on the computer till now so this is posting in the early hours of Friday, but it is a Thursday post. Our church has memorial poinsettias each year to decorate the stage area...which looks gorgeous with all the red color! Each year, we have one place for my mother-in-law who passed almost ten years ago from a long battle with cancer. I wanted to get the color of this beautiful plant while it was still full of glorious red color.
1/25 sec at f/4.5, ISO 400 at 50mm (EF50mm f/1.8II)
