The Nut Gatherer

While on my lunch hour today, I found this little guy eating his lunch too. I put some squirrel food in the bird bath as we have many squirrels that live in our oak trees. From this picture, it looks like he is taking some for a snack later! These furry little tree rats drive my teenie weenies nuts! lol!

Beautiful Memorial Poinsettia

I had a very long day with no time to get on the computer till now so this is posting in the early hours of Friday, but it is a Thursday post. Our church has memorial poinsettias each year to decorate the stage area...which looks gorgeous with all the red color! Each year, we have one place for my mother-in-law who passed almost ten years ago from a long battle with cancer. I wanted to get the color of this beautiful plant while it was still full of glorious red color.

Burrr...it's cold outside!
I thought this was an interesting angle from our patio fire pit topper with some ice dripping down. When you are taking photos, it's makes you think in more creative ways of what to photograph. 1/800 sec at f/5.6, ISO 800 55mm
