Love the green hues spring brings...even if they are dandelions. The azaleas and rhododendrons are just not blooming anywhere like they should this spring...I'm thinking the lack of a winter has something to do with it, sadly. The iris' are doing just fine though.

Sunny Weenie
Our miniature dachshund, Rocky, enjoying the warm breezes and eighty degree temps of this last week.
Bloomin' Spring
The trees are blooming and opening overnight here in north central Missouri. I sure doesn't feel like any March I've experienced since moving back north.

Spring is in the air here in Missouri
When I stepped outside today, I noticed how dark the sky was looking toward the east. The colors where really nice so I snapped a pic. It's when I went to edit that I noticed that our trees are showing buds...spring is right around the corner although, like so many around the country, we didn't really see a winter this year.

March 1st Self Portraits...
The sun was setting and all this glorious light was coming in my family room so of course I took advantage of it and snapped a few new self portraits as it had been a while since I'd done any.

Beautiful Black & White
Love this pic of my grandson, Jonah, taken on the 28th. His newest thing is to play under the kitchen table which explains the bars at the sides of this photo. I enjoy catching kids doing the things they do. He has such gorgeous brown eyes. =)

Gorgeous Southern Indiana
All of these pics were taken looking out the window and some through a windshield of our truck today. The sky was this spectacular shade of blue...I just had to take some pics while we traveled around today. I hope you enjoy these pics as much as I do!

Crazy Squirrels
Well, I had a bird feeder for birds...but the squirrels figured out how to get a snack too! They chewed the line holding my feeder up on a chain so I had to put the feeder on the patio table till the feeder gets fixed. Darn squirrels!!

Wow, this is funny!
I had Taco Bell for lunch yesterday on the way back from visiting my father-in-law in the hospital and I had to take a pic of this box of my food. A picture complete with lifting and handling instructions. ;)

December 7th project...
I am still working on these jeans (the pics are how they came to me) for a friend of my son. Daniel has really gotten some use out of these britches I'd say! I am almost done with them and I'll post a pic of the finished product. I have already added denim patches underneath for stability. BTW, they are Daniel's fav jeans!
The back is really rough!!

Okay, so it has been a while...
...since I've posted, but our life has been a bit turned upside down lately. Here are some pics taken the week of Thanksgiving and on the day of. Thanksgiving day here in Missouri was gorgeous and sixty degrees!! The first two are of my family and the last two are some photos of a friend's family shoot done on a not so warm day! The wind was blowing and it was around 38 degrees with wind chill, but it was a last minute kinda shoot so you go with what you have in the weather department.
